(1) Provided strategic counseling on a national program to address infant mortality inequities among African Americans and other at-risk groups. (2) Evaluated Phase I results of OMHRC national Preconception Peer Educator (PPE) Program. (3) Designed and facilitated professional development workshops for OMHRC/OMH staff members and senior officers on topics including health communication planning, e-health, and program evaluation. (4) Developed capacity for multisectoral partnerships and community engagement for infant mortality prevention via a participatory and community-/stakeholder-driven process.

Partnered with like-minded organizations or other agencies/firms to provide strategic counseling, contribute to strategic planning. and/or develop cross-sectoral collaborations on issues related to equal access to innovation (e.g., products and/or services), in fields such immunization, disease prevention and wellness, tuberculosis, infectious diseases, and immigrant health. Other recent topics included cultural competence, oral health, integrating community engagement strategies in clinical settings, and organizational growth and change. Sample partners include Grameen Primacare, GCI-Health, and The Economist Intelligence Unit.

(1) Designed the evaluation process and key indicators for a national communication initiative by UNICEF-Kyrgyzstan, which aims to remove barriers to vaccine acceptance and improve routine immunization rates among children; 2) In collaboration with UNICEF colleagues, lead the publication of a paper in Global Health Promotion on a multisectoral evaluation model previously developed by SECI team members and also implemented in this work.

(1) Conducted an assessment of the monitoring and evaluation system for health promotion interventions in Rwanda; (2) Worked with national and regional officers from UNICEF and the Rwanda Ministry of Health and their local and international partners to develop a consensus-driven and participatory framework for the evaluation of the 1000 Days in the Land of 1000 Hills national initiative to eliminate chronic malnutrition among children and pregnant women.

1) Designed and delivered two modules/interactive workshops for a course on Health Communication, which is designed for staff members of the local Ministry of Health (MOH), health journalists, communication specialists, and other professionals. 2) Developed and facilitated an interactive training module/workshop on community-driven risk communication during COVID-19 and beyond. 3) Provided strategic input on the importance of strengthening communication systems in Brazil via capacity building and training.
