Radhika Ramesh, MA, BE
Radhika Ramesh, MA, BE, has worked at the intersection of global public health, communication and research, on various topics, including preconception health, infant mortality disparities, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria. She is also a freelance Senior Project Manager at Health Equity Initiative where she provides support on event management, and writing/editing. Radhika previously served as Senior Editorial Assistant and Special Section Co-Editor, Interviews at the Journal of Communication in Healthcare: Strategies, Media and Engagement in Global Health, and also worked with several nonprofit organizations on health communication topics.
In her role as freelance project coordinator at Strategies for Equity and Communication Impact, Radhika has provided research, writing and editorial support on several projects, including the evaluation of A Healthy Baby Begins With You, a national campaign launched by the Office of Minority Health Resource Center (OMHRC), HHS Office of Minority Health; a UNICEF-Rwanda/Rwanda Ministry of Health project pertaining to the Thousand Days in the Land of a Thousand Hills Initiative that aimed to strengthen capacity for monitoring and evaluation in Rwanda; and an online training manual on Communication for Development (C4D) for UNICEF. She also contributed to several peer-reviewed articles and reports.
Radhika received a Master of Arts in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University, where she focused on health communication. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, from University of Madras, India.
